Departmental Scholarships for Returning Majors
Departmental scholarships are awarded annually to qualifying BFA and BA students majoring in studio art or art history. Scholarships for studio art majors are awarded on the basis of an application portfolio and classroom performance during the past year as evaluated by Department of Art & Art History faculty. Scholarships for art history majors are awarded on the basis of an application essay and classroom performance as evaluated by Department of Art & Art History faculty.
All applicants must be full-time students during the scholarship period, and must have a 3.0 minimum major GPA and a 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA. To be considered for need-based awards, applicants must have an updated FASFA form on file in the Financial Aid Office.
