Professor Julia Hitchcock Stops in England for Conference Presentation on Way to India

On the way to India, ">Professor Julia Hitchcock stopped in England to present at the “Art, Aesthetics, and Medical and Health Humanities” Conference at the University of Kent. The presentation is a continuation of her work at creative director of several animation-based training tools for healthcare workers in India.

Hitchcock has been working on a collaborative medical project in India with the Bangalore Baptist Hospital to train nurses and doctors in Bangalore, India using a host of tools including interactive training animation.

The project began in late 2017 and continues. Hitchcock is currently in India working on the next phase of healthcare apps in the field and expanding the project to incorporate new tools.

Kudos to Professor Hitchcock, the Bangalore Baptist team, and to all healthcare workers who will implement the training to help patients receive needed care.
