Congratulations to Sophia Padley on Presenting Her Original Research at the Denver Art Museum

Art History Senior Sophia Padley was selected to present her research at the recent Midwest Art History Society’s 51st Annual Conference at the Denver Art Museum. 

Sophia researched the attribution of an oil painting in the Armstrong Browning Library and Museum collection and presented her research entitled "An Examination of the Kress Collection's Madonna and Child with Saint John the Baptist and Three Angels".

The painting is believed to be a copy after Andrea Del Sarto, from around 1560. The presentation was well received and it was a wonderful opportunity to present original research - not common for undergraduates.
