Tina Linville is an artist working at the intersection of fiber, sculpture, and installation. Her practice explores material transformation, resourcefulness, and systems of connection through weaving, basketry, stitching, natural dyes, and assemblage. Drawing from the histories of both craft and sculpture, her work considers how materials acquire meaning through use, adaptation, and exchange.

Linville is an Assistant Professor of Art in Fiber in the Department of Art and Art History at Baylor University, where she heads the Fiber concentration. She holds a BFA in Sculpture from the University of Washington and an MFA in Fibers from California State University, Long Beach. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and she received the 2024 Best of Fiber Award in Materials at the Hard + Soft Contemporary Craft Exhibition. She also participated in the 2025 international residency Boundary Crossing: Artists in Interfaith Dialogue in Mussoorie, India.

Collaboration is an integral part of Linville’s research and creative practice. Her ongoing collaborative projects engage fiber, sustainability, data visualization, and community-based exchange. She lives and works in Waco, Texas.
